The Sadler Talbot team
Born and bred in Oxfordshire, Sam qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994.
Following time spent with a national accountancy firm as an audit senior, Sam moved back to a local practice in 1996, in order to work more closely with owner-managed businesses and to utilise all of her skills. Sam launched Sadler Talbot in August 2003.
“I genuinely enjoy working with owner-managed businesses, whether sole traders or companies turning over £10 million. The accounting issues are often the same, the enjoyable part is becoming more involved in all aspects of a client’s business, whether that’s setting up systems, producing management information, tax planning or helping to devise business plans”.

Originally from a banking background decided to re-train as an accountant and gained my Association of Accounting Technician qualification in 2007. I was then challenged to continue my studies and qualified as a Association of Chartered Certified Account in August 2011.
I enjoy a varied role looking after sole traders and Limited Company clients as well as completing the Audits.
Most of my spare time is spent with my husband, two grown up daughters and my horse Nemo who will always keep me busy! If I get any other spare time then I enjoy swimming, following Formula 1 and watching football.”
“I enjoy working closely with clients, getting to really understand how their business works and their hopes and aspirations. I joined Sadler Talbot because they have a wide range of different clients, from various industries and enjoy a close relationship with each of them. On a personal basis I am happy working in the friendly environment that a small local practice can provide.”
