Sam Sadler
Managing Partner

Sam qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994 and set up Sadler Talbot in 2003.

Sam is a fellow of the ACCA, celebrating over 30 years experience in audit, accounts and tax.

She trained with a local practice before joining a national firm where she specialised in auditing.  Whilst she gained valuable auditing experience her heart remained in general practice where you can make a real difference so she returned to local practice and eventually set up Sadler Talbot in 2003.

Sam manages a varied portfolio of clients ranging in size from start-ups to established businesses turning over up to £20 million.  No two days are the same as client's needs range from compliance to advisory, either reporting on where the business is now, analysing results or helping to shape future plans.

Sam enjoys family time, running and very occassionally reading a novel!

Kevan Stirrat
Partner

Kevan is a Director of Sadler Talbot with over 30 years of experience across all sectors.

As a fellow of the ACCA, he combines an entrepreneurial spirit with sound business acumen in a no nonsense approach that is widely welcomed in the business community.

This can do attitude keeps Kevan in high demand, from start ups to large corporations.

Kevan spreads his time between our offices and is responsible for managing the Banbury portfolio of clients.

Kevan is a keen Bob Dylan fan and reads avidly, mainly Biographies.

Alice Hillier
Partner

Alice joined the Sadler Talbot team as an accounts manager in 2016 and became a partner in 2021.

Alice is a member of the ACCA and CIOT and has almost 8 years of experience in accountancy and tax, qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2017 and as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2019.  Before joining Sadler Talbot, Alice trained with another local practice where she gained a sound knowledge of accounts, audit and taxation.  During her time at Sadler Talbot she has extended her knowledge and gained a wealth of experience across a range of sectors and services.

Alice now manages a portfolio of clients, predominantly owner managed businesses ranging from start ups to established companies in a broad spectrum of sectors.  

A keen runner, Alice has competed in a number of half marathons and is hoping to run her first marathon in 2022.  She is rarely one to have a 'lazy Sunday' and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Melanie Bishop
Payroll Services Manager

Melanie has been Sadler Talbot’s Payroll Manager since 2014, and prior to that from 2008 worked with a specialist payroll firm in Oxford.

Melanie joined Sadler Talbot as a result of a recommendation from a current staff member, the best way to find good people!

She has become our Auto enrolment specialist administrator due to the high demand as a results of current pensions legislation.

Melanie enjoys dining out, spending time with the family and gardening.

Amy Riley
Senior Manager

Amy joined the Sadler Talbot team as a qualified accountant in 2019 and became a manager in 2021.

 

Amy is a member of the ACA with over 7 years of experience in accountancy, tax and audit, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2018.  Before joining Sadler Talbot she trained with a local practice where she gained knowledge of accounts and audit.  During her time with Sadler Talbot she has extended her knowledger around taxation and gained further experience across a range of sectors and services.

Away from the office, Amy enjoys her local weekly parkrun, going out for dinner with friends and travelling abroad for holidays, usually in the sunshine!

Sandra Reniers
Client Manager

Sandra joined Sadler Talbot in 2021 as part of the team from A S Howes & Co Ltd where she worked for over 20 years.

Qualifed AAT, Sandra specialises in assisting owner managed businesses in all areas of accounting, VAT and taxation.  Her long standing client relationships are testament to the excellent service and support she provides.
